Trevor C, General Manager at Best Western Plus Prestige Inn Radium Hot Springs, responded to this review Despite a couple of minor issues, I would still book at this hotel again if we ever return to Radium Hot Springs in the future. However, the elevator was a tad too slow, but it was not a big deal anyway! The location was great - close to the highways 93 & 95, and a short walk to several restaurants down the street.
It was some a bit messy here and there, but it was not bothersome.
The hotel was under renovations, but it was near complete when we visited. I really like the "hi-tech" switch in the place of the door hangers for "Do Not Disturb" and "Maid Service"! Just one minor annoyance for tall people like me, the shower is a bit too low for my liking and I barely can "fit" under the shower. The room and the bathroom were clean and perfect, given it was recently renovated. She handled very well once I said I am Deaf and communication was efficient. Upon the arrival, I was greeted by a friendly staff, Leslie (I think that was her name) to check in. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next trip to our beautiful area. The sinks in the bathrooms were the on top of counter type and very awkward if you wanted to wash or do any kind of grooming. The restaurant was pricey for the ordinary food we received. the hotel itself was located centrally and close to the Hot springs themselves. The rooms were complete and they were working on the hallways and entrance area. They were doing renovations during our stay. Seemed like the newest hotel in Radium village. We look forward to you coming back and seeing the new property as well. We at the Prestige Radium are super excited about the renovations coming to an end and the finished project is looking amazing. Hopefully, renovations will have been done by then. If we're ever back here, we'll definitely stay here again. Lots of places to eat we especially enjoyed the little cafe that seemed to be popular with the locals. Otherwise, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable enough.
Loved seeing the big horn sheeps! The hotel was undergoing renovations and there were "wet paint" signs everywhere.
